Josh Schaffer

Joshua Schaffer is the Director of the Developmental Academy for Mechanicsburg Soccer Club.  He played high school soccer locally at Bible Baptist School in Shiremanstown, but did not play in college due to a soccer-related injury.  Instead, Coach Schaffer coached Middle School boys and girls in soccer, basketball, and volleyball at Mount Calvary Christian School.  Coach Schaffer also participated in coaching soccer camps around the area and coached a recreation-level team for HMMS.  On weekends, he referees local games as a FIFA certified referee and spends his summers as the Director of Hampden Recreation Department’s Summer Camp.

Coach Schaffer has his degree in Elementary/Special Education from Elizabethtown College and holds additional certifications in math, science, and social studies.  Currently, Coach Schaffer teaches special education at Camp Hill Middle School.  He is the Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Coach and a Varsity Assistant Coach at Camp Hill.
